   Is a water purifier that uses the principle of reverse osmosis technology to filter water. Under a certain pressure, water molecules (H2O) can pass through the RO membrane, while inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organics, colloids, bacteria, viruses and other impurities in the source water cannot pass through the RO membrane, so that part of the water is separated through the RO membrane, and the non permeated water forms concentrated water due to the increase of solutes.

RO (Reverse Osmosis) reverse osmosis technology is a membrane separation and filtration technology that utilizes pressure gauge difference as the power. It originated from the research of aerospace technology in the 1960s in the United States and gradually transformed into civilian use. It has been widely used in fields such as scientific research, medicine, food, beverage, seawater desalination, etc.
The pore size of the RO reverse osmosis membrane is as small as nanometers (1 nanometer=10-9 meters). Under a certain pressure, H2O molecules can pass through the RO membrane, while impurities such as inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, organic matter, colloids, bacteria, viruses, etc. in the source water cannot pass through the RO membrane, strictly distinguishing between pure water that can pass through and concentrated water that cannot pass through.
The RO membrane has a removal rate of over 99% for high valent ions, colloids, bacteria, and organic substances with a molecular weight greater than 300 daltons (including heat sources), and 95% for low valent ions (NA+, K+). When the source water conductivity is<3505µ S/cm, RO pure water conductivity usually ≤ 55µ S/cm, in compliance with the national tertiary water use standard. After undergoing atomic level ion exchange column circulation filtration, the water yield can reach 18.2M Ω. cm.

Reverse osmosis is the most economical method that can achieve a 90% to 99% impurity removal rate, and is also the best pre-treatment method for reagent grade ultrapure water systems.
